ELeague’s Street Fighter V Tournament To Feature Eye-Tracking Tech

Turner-IMG’s ELeague will be using eye-tracking technology for the first time in a major fighting game esports tournament.

The feature will be used to enhance fans’ experience during the upcoming Street Fighter V Invitational.

According to Variety, the ELeague has used the eye-tracking system before, it was used in a similar setup with multiplayer shooter “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive,” for the CS:GO Premier 2017 tournament last September.

The hope is that this enhancement will bring more casual viewers to the broadcasted tournament on both Twitch and TBS.
