Drakes third studio album, Nothing Was The Same, marked his best Billboard debut yet. Coming in at 658,000 copies sold in the first week, Drake topped the charts for the third time in a row (following Take Care and Thank Me Later), surpassing his previous high of 631,000 first-week sales for Take Care.
Drake's numbers put him second in 2013, following Justin Timberlake's 968,000 copies of The 20/20 Experience earlier this spring.
