Drake Inks Las Vegas Residency Deal Worth More Than $10 Million

The deal includes a minimum commitment of 10 shows at XS Nightclub.

According to The Blast, Toronto rapper Drake has signed a multi-year Las Vegas residency deal with XS Nightclub at the Wynn Casino and Hotel worth more than $10 million. The deal includes a minimum commitment of 10 shows at XS.

The “God’s Plan” rapper became a highly sought out act since the growing trend of locking down big-name artists like J.Lo and Lady Gaga to residency deals became a thing. Vegas residencies are a luxury that only select individuals ever get the opportunity of experiencing. Traditionally, Vegas acts have careers spanning over several decades, such as Boyz3 II Men and Celine Dion.

Drake hinted at the deal last week during the Consumers Electronics Show, telling the crowd, “I’ll be back here at XS all year. You’ll have a lot of chances to see me.”

After meetings with various clubs, Drake chose XS due to its high exposure and ability to consistently bring in the biggest crowds.

While there hasn’t been an official announcement, Drake dropped a slight flex post via his Instagram page.

However, it’s still unclear when tickets will go on sale.
