UPDATE (6/10/19 at 7:45am)– ESPN’s Marly Rivera is reporting this morning that David Ortiz is “in intensive care but considered stable after being wounded by a bullet last night.”
Breaking news out of the Dominican Republic that Red Sox legend, David “Big Papi” Ortiz, was shot, wounded and hospitalized in DR.
While reports are still coming in about the incident, ESPN’s Marly Rivera has reported that Ortiz was shot in the back and is in surgery.
