The 19th Surgeon General of the United States and advisor to the NBA Dr. Vivek Murthy will host a live Q&A on NBA Twitter to answer questions and discuss the latest developments around the coronavirus pandemic.  NBA fans and followers can submit questions to Dr. Murthy by tweeting using the hashtag #NBATogether.

Josh Harris, David Blitzer and the 76ers Step Up

The team’s six-figure contribution provided Philly students transitioning to e-learning with 10,000 laptops, nearly 200k meals for more than 150,000 families and gloves and sanitizer to local hospitals via the PHL COVID-19 Fund and Philabundance.

Yesterday, Harris and Blitzer made a significant donation to New Jersey’s RWJBarnabas Health to secure funds for ventilators and surgical masks along with hand sanitizer, gloves, gowns, cleaning supplies and eye protection for the 35,000-plus employees.

On Tuesday, Ben Simmons and the Mayor of Philadelphia thanked the Sixers for its multi-million dollar donations, after Simmons addressed fans on Monday helping to launch The Philly Pledge.

Kevin joined The Daily Show with Trevor Noah last night and CBS This Morning today to discuss coping with mental health and anxieties during this time.

He also discusses his pride in NBA teams and players rallying around their community in such harsh times.
