Today Deadline announced that acclaimed actor Chiwetel Ejioforwould will join the cast of Marvel’s “Doctor Strange,” starring opposite Benedict Cumberbatch’s Stephen Strange as Baron Mordo.
The Academy Award-nominated Ejiofor, widely recognized for his lead role in “12 Years a Slave,” was rumored to be in discussion for a “key role” in the movie months ago. Although reports are that he might have multiple roles within the movie, it is a fact that he will actually be in the movie.
“Doctor Strange” opens on November 4, 2016.
