Catfish Ronaiah Tuiasosopo Tried Sob Story on “The Voice”

We now know more about Ronaiah Tuiasosopo and the details aren’t pretty at all. Initially all we knew about Tuiasosopo is that he was a friend of Manti Te’o and the alleged conspirator of the Lennay Kekua scam

The tea is now spilling and it starts with finding out Tuiasosopo tried out for “The Voice”. According to reports from US Weekly, the aspiring singer/songwriter told the crew of the talent show a similar car accident story to the one used in the Kekua scandal.

"He had this insane sob story before [he sang]," an insider reveals to Us. "It would make for great TV."

According to the source, Tuiasosopo told producers he and his cousins started a Christian band together and were on their way to perform at a youth conference in Nevada when they got into a "massive" car accident. He claimed a truck crashed into their vehicle, sending them flip-flopping all over the freeway. He also said doctors thought one of them might have been brain-dead, but miraculously, everyone was fine.

Crazy thing is the kid probably would’ve made the show if he could actually sing. The judging panel didn’t think he cut the mustard and dropped him from the show.

Oh, and it doesn’t stop there.

If that wasn’t damning enough, Alema Te’o the uncle of Manti went on a Salt Lake City radio station and eviscerated the character of Tuiasosopo.

Based on the interview it seems Alema believes Tuiasosopo would’ve paid a woman to meet the football star to keep the hustle going.

The uncle also believes the want to be singer was using the imaginary Kekua to potentially extort money from the projected first round pick.

“His big deal was raising money.  So I can’t help but think that this guy wanted to get close to Manti to help him get money,” Alema Te’o said.

The attached video already proves the kid isn't a great singer and these stories seem to prove he's a very shady character. Something tells me this is only the tip of the iceberg as to what we'll find out next.
