It’s actually a masterful commercial with a comedic edge and a star power that puts it over the top. It’s sure to be in the running for best commercial during the Super Bowl.
The 60-second ad was scheduled to debut on Jan. 31 during a CBS special titled “Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials,” but will make its official debut during the first quarter of Super Bowl LI.
This is the second consecutive year that Buick has decided to spend big bucks to advertise during the Super Bowl. It now costs, on average, about $5 million for a 30-second ad during the Super Bowl, according to widely published media reports.
With audiences that can top 114 million people, targeting Cam says all you need to know about how the NFL, the fans and big business feels about Mr. Newton and his growing marketability and stature as the face of the NFL.
