Brooklyn Nets’ Deron Williams Out Indefinitely

Today it was announced that Brooklyn Nets' point guard Deron Williams would be sidelined indefinitely due to a fractured rib.

Williams' had complained of soreness on his left side over the weekend, and an MRI revealed a fracture of the cartilage portion of the left 12th rib. There is no scheduled timetable for his return.

Williams' has been injury plagued since signing a $98.5 million contract in 2012, and he was averaging 13.9 points and 6.3 assists per game this season.
