Brian Urlacher can get the deal he wanted after all, just as long as it doesn’t involve playing football.
The former Bears linebacker completed a deal with Fox Sports 1 and will be featured on their football program, Fox Football Daily.
The news comes following the Bears’ failure to resign Urlacher this summer. Other football teams didn’t bite on his availability, though, so Fox Sports 1 ended up taking the plunge. The network has been making moves since it announced its Aug. 17 premiere, and this one is just the latest of the bunch. Fox Football Daily will premiere on August 19th, and Urlacher will get the chance to mercilessly critique the same team that showed little effort in keeping him.
