Jovan Miller, a black lacrosse player (yes they exist) on the Charlotte Hounds is offended by a slogan used by the apparel company of Major League Lacrosse. The brand “Warrior Lacrosse” has a line of products called Ninja which is being marketed with the tag line “ninja, please”.
He took to Twitter and called the slogan “backwards”, said he wouldn’t’ wear it and decided to give the apparel away on Twitter to anyone who asked—except black people.
