LeBron James and the Miami Heat took home their second consecutive championship after an epic Game 7 against the San Antonio Spurs.
The fourth quarter seemed destined for a back-and-forth slugfest when Mario Chalmers nailed a bank-three at the third quarter buzzer to answer Tim Duncan's three-point play to give Miami a one-point lead. The Spurs chased the lead ever since and couldn't seize control of the lead or momentum.
It was largely because LeBron and Dywane Wade dominated the game, both contributing double-doubles and hitting big shots. Though the Spurs kept coming back they only got as close as a Tim Duncan missed layup in the waning moments of the game. He had two chances to tie the game but was unable to do so. Miami made their free throws, and the rest was history.
After LeBron James and Dwyane Wade won Game 7, they faced the ever-persistent questions from the media. Both continued to deliver, with LeBron quoting Lil Wayne and D. Wade turning up a little tipsy.
