The Chicago Bears announced that they’ve placed Alshon Jeffery on injured reserve, due to the veteran wide receiver aggravating a hamstring injury following a touchdown catch in a week 15 loss against the Minnesota Vikings.
Jeffery one of the NFL’s top young receivers, has been dealing with nagging leg injuries all season which only allowed him to play in nine games. But he was productive when active. The 2013 Pro Bowler finished the season with 54 catches, 807 yards and four touchdowns. He is due for a new contract next season, and is definitely worth big money if he can remain healthy.
