New Jersey native Kyrie Irving has been a star for many years now, but this weekend his star was blindingly brighter for his work off of the hardwood.
The All-Star, multi-millionaire point guard for the Boston Celtics decided to open up his wallet and fund the renovations for his high school’s gym, locker room and weight room and the kids at Patrick School couldn’t have been more excited.

To top it all off, he also left the basketball team some gear, including Celtics’ t-shirts and Nike Kyrie 4s. Big props to Kyrie for not forgetting where he came from and giving back to those who helped him along the way to greatness.
