According to the Statesman, Young was booked into Travis County Jail at 12:46 a.m. Monday on the misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated. The arrest occurred in Austin, Texas and his bail was set at $2,000.
After leading the University of Texas to a 2006 Rose Bowl victory over the USC Trojans, Young played six seasons in the NFL, making two Pro Bowl appearances and winning Offensive Rookie of the Year. But after his initial success, he hasn’t had much luck on the gridiron.
