The great purple one is back. Just two months before June’s black music month, which also happens to be the same month when Prince released 1984’s Purple Rain 30 years ago, Prince has announced his return. "A brand-new studio album is on the way and both Warner Bros. Records and Eye are quite pleased with the results of the negotiations and look forward to a fruitful working relationship," he said in a press statement.
Vowing to release new material though his licensing deal with Warner Brother’s, he’ll reissue Purple Rain and new songs, leaving Prince fans worldwide giggling with glee.
