It would seem that the rumors of the demise of Fast & Furious 7 have been greatly exagerrated. Fast star Vin Diesel announced the film was "Delayed, but a go" via social media on Sunday night. He posted the message with a photo of the last scene he and actor Paul Walker filmed together. The new release date for the film is April 10, 2015. Paul Walker died in a car accident while on break from filming Fast 7. Walker's character, Brian O'Conner, was central to the plot of the franchise. His death initially cast down upon whether or not the film would be released.
