Chris Brown is making it a little too easy for people to call him out these days. The volatile singer's name is all up in the headlines once again for a violent incident. Superior Court Judge James Brandlin ordered Brown to spend three months in rehab. Also, the judge added additional rules. Including a requirement for Breezy to perform at least 24 hours of community labor per week. Chris Brown also has to submit to drug testing because he deals with anger issues. The petulant performer reportedly hurled a rock through his mother's car window after she suggested he remain in treatment during a joint counseling session. This is according to a letter submitted to the trial by the rehab facility where he was receiving treatment. The name of the facility was withheld.
"Mr. Brown proceeded to walk outside and pick up a rock and threw it through his mother's car window and it shattered," the letter states. Brown was discharged because he had signed a contract agreeing to refrain from violence while in treatment.
He voluntarily entered rehab for ongoing anger issues just days after being arrested for allegedly punching a man in the face. The resulting charge of misdemeanor assault could lead to further legal action against Brown if it is found that he violated his probation. There is still the possibility that he could see jail-time when everything is all said and done. Brown's behavior is on a tragic trajectory and has been for quite some time. And it is not too improbable to see his star extinguished tragically, a modern day repeat celebrity tragedy like Pac, Pun, Big L and Biggie. It doesn't matter how tragedy strikes. Tragedy is an apparent outcome. Some stories have TV One "Unsung" written all over. His is one of them.
