Ex-NBA player Lamar Odom is alleging that he did not intentionally use illicit drugs at a brothel in Nevada in 2015, where he was found unconscious. Odom says he was plied with drugs by the owner of the brothel. He made the revelation on “TMZ Presents: Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians.”
Did Dennis Hof Try To Kill Lamar Odom?
According to Lamar, he went to the famed brothel had one drink, and woke up three days later in a hospital with tubes sticking out of his body and no ability to speak or walk.
Odom says Dennis Hof, the late owner of the Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nevada, was feeding him pills and wanted the NBA champ dead, although Odom does not know why Hof wanted him dead.
That’s a wild accusation. How can we know if it’s true?
Hof is dead and cannot refute or address the allegations by Odom. But maybe someone from Hof’s family might make a statement.
Lamar Odom Wants To Get Back With Khloe Kardashian
Odom also opens up about his marriage to Khloé Kardashian, whom he clearly wants another chance with.
He and Kardashian married in 2009. The couple had their own reality show, “Khloé & Lamar.” The couple divorced in 2016, due in large part to Odom’s sobriety issues.
The incident at Love Ranch South was a line of demarcation. After that happened the marriage was essentially over.
Odom also says that Kardashian is the love of his life in the special, so we know there are still warm feelings there, at least from him. Now that Kardashian is done with Tristan Thompson, this could be the opening he needs, a possible chance to reconcile?
Stranger things have happened.
“I would just probably want to take her to dinner. It will be a blessing just to be in her presence. Just to tell her I’m sorry and what a fool I was,” Odom said in a confessional of an episode of ‘Celebrity Big Brother.’ “She has the right to never, ever want to see me again for the things I put her through, but time moves on and people change.”
Is Lamar Odom Still On Drugs?
Odom, by all accounts, is working hard to maintain his sobriety and if continuing to put himself and his story out there helps him on that journey, great.
In the years since, Odom has released a documentary, “Lamar Odom: Reborn,” detailing his experimentation with psychedelics to treat his depression and drug addiction. He’s been very open and honest about his addictions and the depths to which he sunk and what he hopes people will learn from it.
Odom was selected fourth overall in the 1999 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Clippers. He played 14 seasons in the league, was a two-time champion with the Los Angeles Lakers, and was Sixth Man of the Year in 2011.
He played collegiately at Rhode Island for one year (1998-1999), where he was named Atlantic-10 Rookie of the Year. This following a distinguished prep career where Odom played for legendary New York City high school Christ The King. He was a two-time Parade All-American and the Parade Player of the Year in 1997.
