Tekashi 6ix9ine Hospitalized … But Now Is ‘Doing Fine’

Reports have surfaced that the troubled and colorful rap star, Tekashi 6ix9ine was hospitalized at the top of the week as a result of an unbalanced cocktail of diet pills and caffeine. It is said that the “Gummo” rapper overdosed on the narcotic blend, though he has allegedly claimed that it was not that serious — just a mixture of McDonald’s joe and two Hydroxycut weight loss supplements, The Shade Room reports.

The unicorn-haired rapper has had it tough the last few years.

After taking a plea deal in a federal racketeering trial against his former manager and the gang that his manager belonged to and violating a street code on tattle-telling, Tekashi, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was labeled a snitch. Due to the coronavirus, he was released early and set himself up to drop his sophomore album.

Upon the release of his highly anticipated, Tattletales, the platinum rapper only sold about 53,000 records during his first week. This, particularly for him, was an epic and massive fail. What made it worse were all of the cumbersome behind the scene promotions that he tried to personally engage — to no avail. Both top rappers-turned-top podcasters Joe Budden and Gillie the King shared how the rapper reached out to them to promote his record.

The slow/ low sales made him (again) the butt of many internet jokes. It is suggested that these public losses are affecting the former “King of New York” in ways that he never expected.

Might not check for him, but no one wants him to die. Which is why the good news is that it has been reported that he is home getting the proper care, attention, and support the 24-year-old needs.
