2K League: Boo Painter’s Stellar Performance Shuts Down Blazer5 Gaming

    MVP finalist Austin “Boo Painter” Painter had one of the biggest performances of the season, keeping his team in the playoff race.

    Painter’s 57 points, eight rebounds, five assists, three steals and three blocks aided Wizards District Gaming in their 74-66 win over top-seeded Blazer5 Gaming.

    “We came out here saying we didnt play this season just to make the bare minimum and not be in theplayoffs. We dont want to go home at the beginning of August. We knew we had to come out and play our best ball. We came out here and did,” Painter said.

    – Off the court, Kings Guard Gaming played basketball with local youth in Men’s & Women’s Leadership Academy in Sacramento. 

    – 76ers GC clinched a playoff spot behind Ethan “Radiant” White’s 21 points, and 17 assists during an 82-58 victory over Pistons GT.

    – Ramo “Let’s Get It Ramo” Radoncic of Pistons GT tallied 21 points and 15 assists in a 66-65 nail-biter win against Magic Gaming. This win secured Pistons a playoff spot.

    – Celtic Crossover Gaming’s Devon “Arsonal x” Peek posted a point-rebound double-double with 15 points and 20 rebounds in a 74-61 victory over Cavs Legion GC.

    – Raptors Uprising GC’s Seanquai “KingQuai614” Harris elevated his team in a 72-69 victory over Grizz Gaming with 29 points and 12 rebounds. This win kept Toronto’s playoff run alive.
