A who’s who of YouTube creators and Jhene Aiko kick off the real HU’s homecoming properly.
YouTube hosted its 2nd annual YouTubeBlack FanFest Wednesday during Howard University’s Homecoming in Washington, DC.
FanFest takes YouTube’s biggest stars from screens to live stages all over the world and celebrates the freedom to be heard, to be in the know, to be what’s next, and to belong.
Over 1400 college students and alumni filled Howard’s Cramton Auditorium for an interactive experience featuring an intro by the university’s marching band and step team.
There were performances by notable YouTube creators such as Ari Lennox, Ceraadi, Kyle Exum, Dormtainment, KevOnStage, Khadi, TPindell, Next Town Down and Shan Boody. Fans also got to engage in a one-on-one meet and greet with their favorite YouTuber.
