Well, you know what they say? The baseball gods giveth, and they taketh away.

Well, you know what they say? The baseball gods giveth, and they taketh away. After losing Robinson Cano to the Seattle Mariners for the handsome sum of $240 million it would appear as though the New York Yankees might just have to settle for plan B.  And it's not like it's the worst plan B in the history of baseball either. Beltran hit .296 with 84 RBIs and 24 home runs in 145 games with the Saint Louis Cardinals last season.
