OK, we're almost halfway through Day 2 of the NCAA tournament and the West region has already thrown us for a loop. Harvard beat New Mexico on Thursday night and Ole Miss just took down Wisconsin. That's the No. 3 and No. 5 seeds in the region throwing up the deuce already.
Here's what you may have missed, unless you skipped work for this tournament like a true red-blooded American.
Marshall Henderson just wrecked @barackobama's bracket: usat.ly/1007GiJ

Everyone thought the West was the weakest bracket. It turns out it's even weaker than we thought.

I think the thing about Marshall Henderson is I'm really glad there's one of him but also really glad there isn't a bunch of him.

Steve Kerr, with affection, on Henderson: "His confidence isn't just unshakeable; it's irrational."
— Mike Finger (@mikefinger) March 22, 2013
Every bracket with Wisconsin over Gonzaga is now shredded.

The Marshall Henderson #narrative lives to irritate another day. #NCAATournament

@goodmancbs Just threw my laptop out the window.

I feel like we were robbed by TruTV not interviewing Marshall Henderson after that game. Shouldn't that have been mandatory?
— Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) March 22, 2013
The people surprised that Wisconsin and Pitt lost in the first round are going to be shocked tonight when Iowa State wins.

So we've had three 12s over 5s and one 5 win by 46.
— Andy Glockner (@AndyGlockner) March 22, 2013
It would be hilarious to watch AK go from every Ole Miss fan wanting him fired to a desirable candidate for better jobs in a span of weeks.

This will be the 5th time in 7 years Wisconsin has been eliminated by a lower seed: bit.ly/XvBzqK (via @slmandel)

Henderson starts 1-for-13. Finishes 5-for-8 down the stretch.Huge win for Ole Miss. Say what you will, Marshall Henderson is clutch

Just ran the numbers: Ole Miss would win at least one game in the Big Ten.

Let's slow down on ranking conferences on NCAA. If ACC gets Duke/Miami in FF does that mean ACC was great? Same with SEC if UF/Ole Miss?

Unlike last year, No. 2 seed Duke moves on in #NCAA with 73-61 win over Albany apne.ws/165O2qI #GoDuke #GoGreatDanes #MarchMadness

Duke beats Albany, which is a bigger deal than you think, @cbtonnbc explains: collegebasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/03/22/duk…
— NBC Sports (@NBCSports) March 22, 2013
Duke's Seth Curry/Mason Plumlee combined 19 FGM was as many as Albany as a team made for the entire game (19-52 FG)
— ESPN Stats & Info (@ESPNStatsInfo) March 22, 2013
No. 2 Duke advances 73-61. Albany has nothing to be ashamed of, they hung tough. Curry, with 25, looked sharp for Duke.

Last year, Duke busted your bracket. This year, they rewarded the 98% of you who picked them to beat Albany.

Wyatt makes both and Temple will hold on for the 76-72 win. The A-10 continues its Round of 64 rampage.

Temple wins 76-72 and will advance to play winner of IU-James Madison on Sunday.

And in the end, N.C. State's much-hyped season finishes not with a bang but a whimper. #goacc

NC State and UNLV remind us that talented teams that underachieve in the regular season usually disappoint in NCAAs.
