Shooters shoot, right?! Democratic New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D) is apparently shooting his shot with actress Nia Long. The uber talented Long is in the news because her longtime partner, Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka, had an affair with a female member of his staff and he has since been suspended for the upcoming 2022-23 season. Now’s as good a time as any for Bowman, right?
“We’re not letting a man, who didn’t recognize the luxury her presence was, dim all her beauty and glory,” tweeted Bowman. “Matter of fact, we need a Nia Long national holiday!”
Sending nothing but love to Nia Long.

Long issued a statement on Friday regarding the situation with Udoka.
“The outpouring of love and support from family, friends and the community during this difficult time means so much to me,” Long says in a new statemenT. “I ask that my privacy be respected as I process the recent events. Above all, I am a mother and will continue to focus on my children.”
There it is. He was just offering support y’all. Why does everyone always think if a man is supportive of a woman, that there is an ulterior motive?
Hahaha, ya’ll hilarious. Y’all do know it’s okay for a man to show a woman love and support without shooting his shot? That’s actually a thing.

Reports suggest that Long was blindsided by news of the affair breaking. She had recently moved to Boston with Kez, her 10-year-old son with Udoka, just a few weeks ago, and they were allegedly house hunting.
