Fans, family, and friends will be able to pay their respects to the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin today, Friday, at 9:30 a.m. EST. The funeral will be live streamed from the Greater Grace Temple in her home city of Detroit.
Franklin died Aug.16 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

This morning, according to the Washington Post, it was reported that Aretha Franklin has passed away at the age of 76. Aretha Franklin’s music touches the soul so deeply and moves the spirit so completely, that it is impossible to envision her legacy as anything other than one of the most soulful singers the world has ever seen.
According to Yahoo her service will feature performances by Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Ariana Grande, Chaka Khan, Fantasia, Yolanda Adams, Jennifer Holliday, Ron Isley, Faith Hill, and others, as well as speeches by Bill Clinton (who had Franklin sing at both of his presidential inaugurations), Smokey Robinson, Clive Davis, the Reverends Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, Cicely Tyson, Isiah Thomas, Tyler Perry, and many more.
