Jay-Z's "Brooklyn Go Hard" plays at the end of this magnificent trailer for "42" but they could easily have chosen "What More Can I Say?" Seriously, it's the story of Jackie Robinson. It's going to be a hit and has awards written all over it.
"42" is set to come out on April 12, and looks at Robinson's entire baseball career as well as the anger and hatred he faced every time he stepped on the field. GM Branch Rickey, played by Harrison Ford, pleads for Robinson to have the courage not to fight back despite the worst intentions from fans, opposition and some teammates. The movie details all the fighting and tension the Brooklyn Dodgers faced in the '40s and '50s.
