Thousands nationwide will come together in peace, prayer and love Thursday evening for the National Moment of Silence 2014. Taking place at cities across America at 7:20pm, locals will find spots in their neighborhoods to convene with like minds motivated to acknowledge a moment of silence for loved ones lost to police brutality.
The Facebook page for the vigil, created by Feminista Jones, currently features over 6000 likes with a google link to nearly 90 cities (as of press time) across the United States where people can convene with candles, pictures, or just their presence for 60 seconds of quiet. Being described as not a protest, but a love vigil and show of support for victims of brutality, gatherers are asked to wear red to show love and support.
