So, you thought being president of the most powerful nation on earth meant you don't have time to catch a little TV between pushing laws through Congress? Well, you’re wrong. During a recent interview with the New York Times, President Barack Obama ran down a few of his television favorites. You might be a little taken aback by some of his selections. The Times quotes POTUS as saying he envied devious politician Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) on the Netflix series House of Cards.
"The guy's getting a lot done," said the president of the character.
Currently in the middle of watching AMC's Breaking Bad, Obama issued an edict forbidding advisors from spoiling it for him. Ok, maybe “edict” is too strong a word, that is, unless you considering how his administration treats real life whistleblowers. HBO's Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones were also among his other favorites. But one show that was noticeably absent from his list was the Kerry-Washington-cheating-with-the-president-vehicle Scandal. Hmmm…
