17-year-old Jasmine Harrison from Greensboro, North Carolina was rewarded over $4.5 million in merit-based scholarships according to WFMY.
Because of a special program in North Carolina, along with the HBCU’s Common Black College Application, Harrison was able to apply to more than 100 schools for just $130. She got a full ride from three schools including HBCU, Bennett College, which is where she will be attending.
