Team Kaep To Subpoena Trump, VP Pence In NFL Collusion Case

The way Trump has attacked NFL players and put pressure on owners to be tough and dismissive on social activism, shows a clear attempt on his part to interfere in the free enterprise of the NFL and disrupt jobs and wage opportunities for certain blackballed NFL players such as Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid, who has also recently filed a collusion grievance against the NFL

Kaepernick’s ongoing collusion case against the NFL has taken its share of twists and turns. Kaepernicks lawyers are expected to force Trump directly into the legal battle by seeking federal subpoenas in the coming weeks to compel testimony from Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and other officials familiar with Trumps agenda on protesting NFL players, sources with knowledge of the quarterbacks collusion case against the NFL told Yahoo Sports.

Trump is taking great pride in being the toxic element in the national anthem protest debate, changing the narrative and pitting the African-American players in the NFL against the owners and a large contingent of the country by misrepresenting their platform.

If you recall, Pence walked out of a Colts game last season because some NFL players kneeled. It was a staged political stunt that did nothing more than fuel the divisive flame burning between NFL players, Black America, NFL owners and supporters of Trumps personal agenda.

According to Yahoo.com, The aim will be a dive into the administrations political involvement with the NFL during Kaepernicks free agency and the leagues handling of player protests, sources said. This after recent disclosures that multiple owners had direct talks with Trump about players kneeling during the national anthem. The content of those conversations between Trump and owners as well as any forms of pressure directed at the league by the administration are expected to shape the requests to force the testimony of Trump, Pence and other affiliated officials, sources said.

There are a few legal hurdles that Team Kaep has to overcome in order for Trump to be subpoenaed and its a good chance he could flat out refuse.

Trumps lawyers have already argued to special counsel Robert Mueller that Trump couldnt be compelled to comply with a criminal subpoena in the U.S. Department of Justices Russian collusion probe, so the probability that hell refuse to comply with the desires of Team Kaep is strong.

Still, this is a power move by Kaepernicks lawyers and an attempt to make it clear that he was blackballed in every way from the highest levels of government on down and theyre not pump-faking anyone when it comes to who they believe deserves the majority of the blame.
