For the latest episode of “when keeping it real goes wrong,” we turn our attention to Pittsburgh where native son, Wiz Khalifah, set things off, but not in a good way.
Invited to throw out the ceremonial first pitch, Khalifa took to the field in front of his hometown crowd, ready to throw a strike to home plate. But before he did so, he had to get himself ready and his manner of prep did not make the baseball gods happy.

@wizkhalifa rockin the “Legalize It” shirt for the first pitch at the @Pirates game tonight https://t.co/brUPbtihnf
Yep, Khalifah simulated hitting a blunt, which did not sit well with the Pirates or MLB.
Marijuana is a prohibited substance in all of our drug programs. Its unfortunate this situation occurred, said Major League Baseball in a statement to the Pittsburgh Tribune. The Pirates have informed us that this should not have happened.
What else could you expect when Khalifah walked on to the field with a shirt that said “Legalize It.” Peter Tosh would be so proud.
