Usain Bolt Passed Carl Lewis And Michael Johnson In World Championship History

After Usain Bolt took the Jamaican squad to gold status in the 4×100-meter relay on Sunday, he became the new standard for world championship track and field history with eight golds and two silvers.

The clip surpasses Carl Lewis (8 golds, 1 silver, 1 bronze) and Michael Johnson (8 golds), and reaffirms Bolt's place of his own the sports' history. Bolt also won gold in the 100 and 200-meter races.

“I'll continue dominating," Bolt told the media. "I'll continue to work hard. For me, my aim is to continue hard into the greatness thing.”

He turns 27 years old this week. It's hard to speculate on how much Bolt has left, but he hasn't really shown signs of slowing down.
