Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank Resigns From Trump’s Advisory Council

After the events in Charlottesville, and the President’s weak, yet not surprising, response to the horrific violence and death which occurred, many have stepped up to the plate and voiced their criticism of POTUS 45. Some came from the Republican party but then today we witnessed two CEOs demonstrate their displeasure by stepping down from Trump’s American Manufacturing Council. It started with Merck CEO Kenneth Frazier this morning and then moved to the world of sports this evening when Under Armour CEO, Kevin Plank, issued the statement below that he was also stepping down from the council.
