Strictly Speaking Ep. 10 – Rip Hamilton

Rip Hamilton is a UCONN legend, along with being an NCAA and NBA Champion. One of the most vicious mid-range marksmen the game has ever seen, Rip sat down with us to take us through his journey from Coatesville, Pennsylvania to stepping into Ray Allen’s formidable shoes in college before ultimately delivering Hall of Fame coach Jim Calhoun and the UCONN program their first national title.

He invites us along with some cool and funny stories about playing with Michael Jordan at the beginning of his 14-year NBA career, the amazing run with the Pistons where he appeared in six straight Eastern Conference Finals and back-to-back NBA Finals appearances, along with the championship run with Chauncey Billups, Rasheed Wallace, Larry Brown and crew in the 2003-2004 season.
