Jameis Winston, just like his Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2017 season, is catching Ls at the highest of rates in his personal life.
Winston will miss the first 3 games of the 2018 season as punishment for violating the league’s personal conduct policy with his groping of an Uber driver in 2016.
And now the former first-round pick apparently will be reportedly losing some sponsorship money as Nike has decided to not renew the former Florida State Seminoles contract.
Even though he apologized, Jameis has been a habitual line stepper in the past. And Nike is a business, who wants to protect their image, so seeing Jameis lose his deal isnt the most surprising story.
But hey, the NFL loves a good redemption story. This will be fuel for James to prove himself once again as a leader both on and off the field.
Just keep your hands to yourself and everything else should fall into place.
