Madden Tournament Shooting Survivor Dies In Car Crash

A survivor of the Jacksonville, Florida Madden tournament shooting last month reportedly died Sunday in a car crash.

Authorities say Ryan Aleman, 25, lost control of his car while traveling on Texas state Route 44 in Corpus Christi. Aleman was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle after it overturned several times and crashed into railroad tracks.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Kiiitv reports that the Department of Public Safety does not know what caused the accident and this incident is currently under investigation.

Aleman, who goes by the gamertag Badrep, was one of 117 gamers who participated in the Madden NFL 19 Classic qualifier in Jacksonville when a gunman opened fired, killing three and injuring 11 people.
