James Bond 25 Locks In Cary Fukunaga As New Director

James Bond franchise producers announced Cary Fukunaga as the new director for the 25th film starring Daniel Craig.

In a two-part statement, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli stated that they are “delighted to be working with Cary” and “his versatility and innovation make him an excellent choice for our next James Bond adventure.

Fukunaga, 41, will replace Danny Boyle, who dropped out of the film in August due to “creative differences.”

This new director decision sets up the perfect debate on whether Idris Elba should be starring in the next 007 film.
