Golden State Signs Damion Lee, Steph Curry’s Future Brother In Law

The Golden State Warriors have the luxury of making moves that not only enhance the team but save careers (see Boogie Cousins and Sean Livingston), save legacies (see Kevin Durant), harbor basketball genius maniacs (see Draymond Green),  and basically keep the family happy while putting out the best marketing product the NBA has to offer.

In the latest twist of Warriors Family Values the franchise has signed Curry’s future brother-in-law Damion Lee, who reportedly agreed to a two-way deal with Dub Nation. Stephs  younger sister, Sydel, announced in November of 2017 that Lee had proposed and a marriage was on the horizon.

The 23-year-old Sydel made the announcement on Instagram

Thank you Jesus for this man. Thank you for your perfect timing. Tonight I said yes to the man of my dreams and I couldnt be more happy. I love you Damion Lee and cant wait to be your wife. Holy crap!!! #HappiLeeEverAfter omg omg omg omg omg omg omg. #ForeverEver

Sister-in-law Ayesha Curry offered these congratulatory vibes:

Ummmmm my sissy is engaged which means me n @stephencurry30 are officially old. Sorry to say this but I still remember your freshmen year of high school. I cant believe now youll be walking down the aisle and one day starting a fam of your own! My only goal was to create and pave a path that our siblings could look up to. I only hope you feel we did that . I am so proud of you and cant wait to see what the future holds. Just know I’m always going to snatch you away for girls weekends @sydelcurry !!!!! LOVE YOU

Damion Lee Atlanta Hawks Highlights

The NBA G League is the NBA’s official minor league. Fans can get a glimpse at the players, coaches and officials competing to ascend to the NBA’s rank. With 30 percent of players on start-of-season NBA rosters boasting NBA G League experience when the 2016-17 season tipped off in October, the NBA G League YouTube Channel is the best place to see the future now.

Earlier this month, Lee wrote a column for The Players Tribune detailing a long road to the NBA that included numerous injuries, as well as having the NCAA tournament taken away from him during his one season at Louisville.

Its definitely a family affair, but the 6-foot-6 , 210-pound shooting guard can ball too. Lee, 25, averaged 10.7 points in 15 games in his rookie season with the Hawks in 2017.

Golden States euphoria continues.
