This have just heated up for OKC’s Enes Kanter.
After being detained last weekend in Romania after Turkey cancelled his passport, now reports have surfaced that Turkey has issued a warrant for his arrest, claiming that Kanter is part of a terrorist group.
Kanter supported Fethullah Gulen, the leader of a movement trying to oust President Recep Tayyip Erdogan last year. Now, according to Turkish newspaper Sabah daily, a judge has issued a warrant after an investigation was opened into Kanter’s alleged ties with a “armed terrorist organization.”
Kanter doesn’t seemed worried by the action, as he took to Twitter to “laugh” at the charges.

For those who don’t speak Turkish, the tweet translates to “You cannot catch me. Hahaha. Don’t waste your energy. I am already going to come to (Turkey) to spit on all of your ugly, hate-filled faces.”
