Bengals’ George Iloka Wins Appeal, Won’t Be Suspended For Head Shot

The Steelers vs Bengals game on Monday night was another fierce battle, but more vicious than games past.

Two players were carted off the field after head jarring hits and multiple penalties were assessed. In the aftermath, two players, the Steelers’ JuJu Smith-Schuster and the Bengals George Iloka, were given one game suspensions each for their ferocious hits on linebacker Vontaze Burfict and receiver Antonio Brown, respectively.

Today though, Iloka was given a reprieve as his suspension was rescinded, which means he’ll be playing on Sunday against the Bears.

JuJu remains benched for a week though, as does Gronk, who should now be given the game meant for Iloka so that he gets closer to the three games he rightfully deserves.
