Johnny Dawkins reign as head coach of the Stanford Cardinal is over after after eight seasons.
According to CBS Sports, Dawkins will be released by the school, with a formal announcement coming soon. In eight seasons, Dawkins made one NCAA Tournament appearance, had a career record of 156-115 and finished 15-15 this season. The team’s brightest spots were winning the NIT Championship twice and making the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament in 2014.
