Tony Parker has agreed to a two-year, $10M deal with Charlotte, league source tells ESPN
The 17-year veteran Parker was a four-time NBA champion with the Spurs, a six-time All-Star and 2007 NBA Finals MVP. Parker is a future Hall of Famer who rose to NBA prominence after being a young phenom in France. Parker dazzled the competition for two years in the French basketball league, before entering the 2001 NBA draft and being selected by San Antonio with the 28th overall pick.
The silky smooth, multi-faceted point guard quickly became the starterand situated his legacy with a poise that was steady as a sniper during his time running the show for Gregg Popovichs elite Spurs franchise.
Reports say the Spurs wanted the veteran back, but Parker had expressed some frustration with the Kawhi Leonard situation last season and experienced a dysfunction in the locker room that hadnt been present in previous years. Whether the Spurs keep Leonard or not, Parker has decided to leave the only NBA town he has called home since he was a 19-year-old rookie.

Charlotte is a developing team with a nasty point guard in All-Star Kemba Walker, who could use some tutelage from Parker on how to maximize the position and make his teammates better.
