Originally released in 1994, the good people over at Nike have decided to re-release the nearly forgotten classic training sneaker, the Nike Air Veer. If you can remember, these are the same kicks in which Hall of Famer Bruce Smith did some bad things in back in the days. On July 20th, Nike will be releasing 3 separate colorways of the classic shoe; OG Black/White, Wolf Grey/Game Royal, and White/University Red.
Subsequently, the ghosts of the Air Veers have influenced sneakers such as the Air Zoom Huarache 3 cleats. Equipped with a pebbled leather strap displaying the bold “Swoosh” logo, the Air Veers have received nothing but positive feedback thus far through the wire. Not only do they seem to be highly sought after by the younger sneakerheads, but the OG sneaker collectors will certainly appreciate the liberation of the Air Veers. Always a step ahead of the competition, the Air Veers seem to fit in more with today's overall sneaker style collective, than it did when it was originally released back in ’94. Be on the look out for these both online and select Nike retailers.
