Serena Williams beat 24-year-old Swede Johanna Larsson in straight sets (6-4, 6-1) to win the Swedish Open Sunday. It was her first tournament after an early Wimbeldon exit, which was clearly still on her mind.
“It was really good to come here and win after a disappointing Wimbledon so hopefully this confidence will help me for the rest of the year,” she told AP.
