The SEC conference is tops in earned revenue, with 10 of its 14 schools reporting earning at least $100 million during the 2014-15 season, according to the U.S. Board of Education.
Vandy, Ole Miss, Mizzou and Mississippi State were the only schools outside of the SEC’s exclusive $ 100 Mil’ Revenue Club.
The Big-Ten finished a close second with eight of their athletic departments reporting $100 Mil in revenue. In total, there were 28 schools that generated at least $100 million, with 18 of them coming from either the Big-Ten or SEC.
