Robert Horry- The Legend Of Big Shot Bob

Robert Horry might not be the first name you mention when you think of the GOATs in the history of the NBA Playoffs, but maybe it should be.

“The Legend of Big Shot Bob,” produced by Shadow League Films for Bleacher Report, tells the story of Robert Horry, aka Big Shot Bob.

Horry was known for hitting the big shot during the most crucial moments of the biggest games in the NBA. Horry did it with Houston, LA and San Antonio, helping those cities win Championships while adding to his trophy case every time to the tune of seven rings. The legend started in Houston, where he won two rings. He then moved to Phoenix and then LA, where he won another three rings, finally settling in San Antonio, where he earned his final two.

The former Naismith Alabama High School Player of the Year was selected to the All-Southeastern Conference, the SEC All-Defensive and the SEC All-Academic teams in college, eventually becoming the 11th pick of the Houston Rockets in the 1992 NBA Draft.

Now that you know about his background, learn why they call Horry “Big Shot Bob” and why no team could have won their championship rings without him.
