Rihanna Had Kap’s Back And Said No To Performing At Super Bowl LIII

US Weekly reports that RiRi gave the NFL the Heisman when asked to be the Halftime Show performer at SB LIII.

Rihanna has performed on the biggest stages across the world, but there’s one stage she refuses to tear up, and that’s the one at the Halftime Show at the Super Bowl.

According to US Weekly, RiRi declined the offer because she supports Colin Kaepernick, who we all know is being blackballed by the League for his stance on social issues.

“The NFL and CBS really wanted Rihanna to be next year’s performer in Atlanta,” an insider told the magazine. “They offered it to her, but she said no because of the kneeling controversy. She doesn’t agree with the NFL’s stance.”

After the Rihanna turned the NFL down, that’s when they turned their attention to Maroon 5 for the big game in Atlanta, which had many fans incensed as no calls were made to A-Town artists such as Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri or Usher.

Well at least fans can take some solace in knowing that Rihanna took a stand and had Kap’s back.
