The Memphis Grizzlies are supposed to have the most physical frontcourt in the league. Instead, the Clippers beat them to 14 offensive boards and Memphis grabbed just four of their own. Marc Gasol finished with a team-high 16 points and seven assists, but totaled just two boards in 41 minutes. To put that in perspective, Clippers guard Eric Bledsoe grabbed six off the bench and Ed Davis led Memphis with six rebounds in 13 minutes. Meanwhile, Lionel Hollins' could probably make some smores on the hot seat after Memphis' 21 point Game 1 loss.
Tough crowd. But without a contract, no firing necessary. RT @chrisrts: #Grizz win or #fireLionel. That's what this series comes down to.

Clippers and Grizzlies trading punches — er, turnovers — to start the game.
— Dan Woike (@DanWoikeSports) April 21, 2013
5 minutes into the game and Zach Randolph hit wish his 2nd foul. Ed Davis checks in.
— Dan Woike (@DanWoikeSports) April 21, 2013
Clippers are killing Memphis with that right corner 3. 3/3 from that spot thus far.
— The Shadow League (@ShadowLeagueTSL) April 21, 2013
That's ridiculous 38 4 point plays for Jamal Crawford #clippers
— Ryan Bungo(@ryan_king6) April 21, 2013
I'd like to see Jamal Crawford's shooting percentage falling down vs. standing up.

Clippers lead Grizzlies, 29-21, at end of first quarter. Caron Butler has nine points and Chris Paul seven for the Clippers.
— Ben Bolch (@latbbolch) April 21, 2013
1st quarter shot chart. Memphis' offense can't score outside the paint. Clippers are 4/6 from beyond the arc. twitter.com/ShadowLeagueTS…
— The Shadow League (@ShadowLeagueTSL) April 21, 2013
/gets home from arena /checks score /Grizzlies have only scored 33 points with 7 left in the 2nd. "Yup, sounds right."
— Hardwood Paroxysm (@HPbasketball) April 21, 2013
Griz getting outrebounded, 20-12. Second chance points: 14-1.
— Geoff Calkins (@geoff_calkins) April 21, 2013
True to form. Mike Conley is 1-for-5, just 2 pts against Chris Paul and Bledsoe combo. Averaged 17 pts per in last 10 games
— The Shadow League (@ShadowLeagueTSL) April 21, 2013
Chris & Cliff Paul be damned. Marc Gasol is 1/2 of NBAs top sibling duo
— The Shadow League (@ShadowLeagueTSL) April 21, 2013
Chauncey Billups draws foul No. 3 on Conley — for good measure, he hits the shot. Clippers up 6 w/ Billups headed to the line.
— Dan Woike (@DanWoikeSports) April 21, 2013
Halftime: #Clippers up 57-51 on Matt Barnes last-second tip.
— Dan Woike (@DanWoikeSports) April 21, 2013
Clips lead at half, 57-51, which isn't 27 anyway. Conley awful. Second chance points: 16-1.
— Geoff Calkins (@geoff_calkins) April 21, 2013
@cp3 PLINKO, the Clippers up 64-53 on the @memgrizz, shooting 56 percent from the field, rare to see the Grizzlies' defense getting sliced
— Brad James (@BroncosItaly) April 21, 2013
Chris Paul opens the 2nd half w/ three straight buckets. Quick 7-0 run for @laclippers & the lead is now 64-53 on ESPN. #CLIPPERSvGRIZZLIES

Blake picks up his 3rd foul boxing out Z-Bo. How you call anything either way when those two battle is beyond me. Bench hit with a T.
— Dan Woike (@DanWoikeSports) April 21, 2013
That's not a foul either. Z-Bo gets called for his 3rd.
— Dan Woike (@DanWoikeSports) April 21, 2013
Blake hustles down the court ahead of Randolph, runs into Conley and called for No. 4
— Dan Woike (@DanWoikeSports) April 21, 2013
Marc Gasol high-post passing is my favorite thing in basketball this season.
— Chris Herrington (@FlyerGrizBlog) April 21, 2013
3Q- worst matchup for @memgrizz tonight has been Zach Randolph vs. Bill Kennedy. 3 fouls on ZBo (all touch fouls). Grizz down 8 (68-60)
— Rob Fischer (@thefishnation) April 21, 2013
I'll take Zach – even without the guns. RT @dmai21: I want to see a Z-Bo vs Blake Griffin boxing match. #fb
— Megan Ann Wilson (@shegotgame) April 21, 2013
And Prince going 1/5 won't do anything to shut up the if-they-only-still-had-Rudy brigade.
— Geoff Calkins (@geoff_calkins) April 21, 2013
Randolph called for his 4th trying to post up Odom. Ed Davis vs. Lamar Odom is on.
— Dan Woike (@DanWoikeSports) April 21, 2013
Courtesy of these offensive boards, Clippers r killing Grizzlies offensively. They're playing w/ a 48-second shot clock on most possessions.
— The Shadow League (@ShadowLeagueTSL) April 21, 2013
LOS. LET ODOM SHOOT ANGELES.
— Hardwood Paroxysm (@HPbasketball) April 21, 2013
Clips have 10 offensive boards, Grizz have 3. That's approx. 168 seconds of extra clock for Chris Paul to work with.
— The Shadow League (@ShadowLeagueTSL) April 21, 2013
Double-teamed with no dribble and he finds the perfect pass. Damn you Marc Gasol for being so good.
— Sarah Hecht (@sarahhechtNBA) April 21, 2013
Why is Memphis in this game? 13 Clipper turnovers leading to 17 points. #Clippers have scored 2 pts off 5 MEM turnovers.
— Dan Woike (@DanWoikeSports) April 21, 2013
That's the list RT @bomani_jones: thinking… RT @nbaguru: What a tip by Bledsoe! How many PGs can do that? Westbrook, Wall. Rose…
— Black Diezel(@brandonKscott) April 21, 2013
In 11 minutes of play, Ed Davis is Griz leading rebounder with 5. But Arthur, who has 0, is playing the fourth?
— Geoff Calkins (@geoff_calkins) April 21, 2013
#clippers finally get 1st dunk on driving slam by #jordan for 88-79 lead.
— Beth Harris (@bethharrisap) April 21, 2013
DeAndre Jordan's first shot attempt came with 6 min left in the game. It was a dunk.
— Dan Woike (@DanWoikeSports) April 21, 2013
4Q- double foul call on Zach Randolph and Blake Griffin is the 4th time this year (in 5 games) they've been called for double fouls #copout

Clippers win Game 1: 112-91. Clippers guards combine to score 61 points.
