North Carolina A&T was given a favorable matchup in their play-in game against a Liberty squad that lost 21 games, but won its conference tournament, and nearly didn't survive. Like Jimmy V used to say, all you have to do is survive and advance.
The Aggies weren't able to breathe easy until John Caleb Sanders' driving layup missed at the buzzer. NC A&T's Jeremy Underwood and Bruce Beckford led the way for the team, which will see their comp step up a few notches on Thursday night in the Bluegrass State against the top overall seed, Louisville.
Congrats to Aggies as NC A&T wins 1st NCAAgame inschool history. Now they have a date with Louisville. #dickievpicks
